American historian Michael G. Kammen dies at 77

Very few people realize that well-known historian Michael G. Kammen was born in Rochester. He contributed a great deal to the study of American history and memory studies and influenced innumerable students of Cornell University. Most of his books are available at the Central Library if you’d like to check them out.
